Hanoi - Halong Bay - Hoi An - Nha Trang - Saigon - Mekong DeltaDay 1: Hanoi Arrival
On your arrival in Hanoi, you will be greeted by our guide then transferred to the hotel on a private vehicle. The rest of the day is your free time to explore Hanoi capital of 1000 years old. In the evening, you have options to see the water puppet show or Tonkin Show or simply relax at the hotel.
Day 2: Hanoi – Halong Bay by Seaplane
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take a private seaplane to Halong Bay. You will have a chance to see the magnificent Halong Bay fro the bird’s eyes view. After landing in Halong Airport, you will be welcome by the ship crews while cruising into the magic bay. Enjoy your lunch of fresh seafood among amazing sceneries of various karst limestone mountains.
In the afternoon, engage in interesting activities such as swimming on a quiet beach, sunbathing on the sundeck or kayaking to explore the hidden corners of the bay. You can also visit a floating fishing village with an opportunity to interact with local fishermen who have been living there for three generations. Back on board at the sunset and enjoy this astonishing moment with your favorite drink. After dinner, you have some activities to join such as experiencing massage and spa services, going squid fishing or simply relaxing at your cabin.
Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Foot Massage
Wake up early this morning to behold the gorgeous dawn at the bay and participate in a Tai Chi session. Then you are free to explore the bay on your own or experience lavish services on the cruise. After lunch, disembark the cruise and transfer back to Hanoi.
In the afternoon, you can join in Hanoi City Tour after dark (optional). On the feature motorbikes in Vietnam, you will be taken around Hanoi Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake and get amazed at the lively small alleys and the local lifestyle inside. Have a quick look at some of the majestic historical buildings as well as ancient houses before stopping to sip a cup of the special egg coffee with some Vietnamese snacks. Continue to drive past the Red River and the historical Long Bien Bridge to see the nightlife outside Hanoi. After dinner at a local restaurant, relax your feet with a skillful massage which makes all of your tiredness and stress disappear.
Day 4: Hanoi – Hoi An
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for a domestic flight to Danang and a short ride down the central coastline to Hoi An ancient town, a restored fishing village, and a trading center in the 15th century. The remainder of the day is your leisure to explore the town which will be colorfully lit up by countless lanterns at night.
Day 5: Hoi An Walking Tour & Cooking Class
Today, join in a leisure walking tour around Hoi An ancient town. Hoi An is a great combination of Portuguese, Japanese, Chinese, and Vietnamese cultures with a ton of attractions and traditional experiences. Together with your guide, visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Tan Ky Old House, Fujian Assembly Hall, silk streets of Hoi An. End the walking tour with an authentic lunch of Hoi An specialties.
Recover and relax at the hotel until the late afternoon when you will be transferred to the house of a local chef and start the cooking class. You will be instructed by the chef to cook the traditional dishes of Vietnam cuisine with secret recipes and lesser-known culinary knowledge. Your dinner is the dishes you cooked.
Day 6: Hoi An Leisure
Today is your leisure to enjoy a beach escape at Cua Dai beach and relax with the wellness packages including a Yoga lesson, sauna, and steam, spa as well as massage treatment.
Day 7: Hoi An – Danang – Nha Trang
Today, travel south to the beach city of Nha Trang, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. After breakfast, say goodbye to Hoi An and drive to the airport in Danang for a domestic flight to Nha Trang. On arrival, you are free to recover from the flight, relax at the resort and enjoy the stunning beach.
Day 8: Nha Trang Mud Bath
After breakfast, enjoy your free time to relax at the beach, join in amazing water-based activities, and experience opulent services at the resort. You will receive special treatment of mineral mud bath in Nha Trang – thing you should never miss on visiting this wonderful land of the beach. Mud bath is extremely good for your skin and circulatory system.
Day 9 – 11: Nha Trang Free Day with Daily Spa Package
These three days are your leisure at Nha Trang with a package of Spa Treatment daily, yoga class as well as Tai Chi class. Aside from lovely beaches, Nha Trang has a lot of islands where you can snorkel and scuba dive to marvel at marine creatures and coral reefs. Hon Tam Island and Hon Mun Island are two names of recommendations for your enjoyment.
Day 12: Nha Trang – Saigon
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, head to the hotel for check-in and recover from the flight. In the afternoon, you can join an optional city tour to explore some famous highlights such as Reunification Palace, War Remnant Museum, and Ben Thanh Market.
In the evening, travel to the pier for embarkation on the Saigon River Cruise for dinner. Complimentary cocktails, canapés, and a friendly crew welcome you aboard the biggest dragon boat in Vietnam. A multi-member band sets the mood with a musical fusion of the East and West as you cruise out into the Saigon River. Settle in as the executive chef and Vietnamese show cooks prepare, in concert, an impressive Eurasian buffet. Savor your sumptuous dinner which is accompanied by live entertainment, while marveling at the cityscape from the water. The cruise also offers cocktail lounges as well as airy verandas for your after-dinner strolling.
Day 13: Saigon – Mekong Delta
Pick up at your hotel and depart for Ben Tre in Mekong Delta which is famous for coconut production and peaceful, quiet waterways. The journey will take you to Huu Dinh hamlet where you will have a chance to get on a Xe Loi (tri-motor cycle) to behold the lush view of surrounding rice paddies and fruit farms alongside the narrow village roads.
On arrival at the waterfront, embark on the cruise for a glimpse at the Delta scenery. Make the first stop at a small brick workshop to see the locals using centuries-old traditional methods to make bricks by hand. Then cross the An Hoa River to Phong Nam where you will start a short bicycle trip to visit a small coconut factory as well as a rice noodle one to witness how “hu tieu”, one of the most popular ingredients in south Vietnam is made. Next, walk about 3 minutes to visit a local house to enjoy the tropical fruits and honey tea in the host’s garden before taking a sampan paddled by a personalized rower to discover the maze of small canals. Return to the boat then head to a local restaurant for lunch.
In the afternoon, travel on village roads past green gardens to visit another local house of a former Vietcong soldier who survived two years fighting the Khmer Rouge in Phnom Penh and now make rice paper for a living. Interact with him and taste the crispy rice paper made by his wife, and see how it is made. Say goodbye to the hosts and take a boat ride to Ben Tre for road transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14: Saigon Departure
After breakfast, enjoy your last day in Saigon before transferring to the airport for your flight home.
