Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL (D)

On arrival, you will be welcome then transfer to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is your leisure to explore the Vietnamese capital. Hanoi is a fascinating and bustling city of sacred pagodas, ancient temples, cultural institutions, and enchanting French colonial quarters.

Day 2: INSIDER OF HANOI BY VINTAGE USA JEEP (B, L)

After breakfast, explore the charming Hanoi of colonial buildings, scenic lake, and tree-lined boulevards by a vintage Jeep. First, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, which is built to house the preserved body of great president Ho Chi Minh. Next, visit One Pillar Pagoda, the iconic Buddhist temple built in 1049 owning the shape of a lotus blossom on a single stone pillar. Before lunch, continue to visit the picturesque Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first national university built in the early 11th century. In the afternoon, ride along the famed Hanoi old quarter and get a wonderfully eclectic glimpse into Hanoi Street life. Before traveling to the scenic Hoan Kiem Lake. On riding around the lake, you will hear the legend in the 15th century about the origin of its name. Stop at Jade Mountain Temple accessible by the gorgeous wooden The Huc Bridge.

Day 3: HANOI – MAI CHAU – AVANA RETREAT (B, L, D)

Depart for Mai Chau. Upon arrival at Avana Retreat, experience the outdoor spa following the flow of the stream. Combining special therapies with the fresh, tranquil air, will awaken all your sense. In addition to relaxing, take in the natural beauty of the Northwest mountains. You can also enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner by Pung waterfall after admiring the lovely sunset from the infinity pool.

Day 4: AVANA – HIKING TO THE VILLAGE – AVANA (B, L, D)

Take a leisurely hike through the Pom Coong village, and discover some Thai villages including Lac, Nhot, and Na Phon village. Have a chance to join the traditional dance of the White Thai people and drink the Can Wine, which is one of the local specialties. Enjoy lunch at a Thai stilt house in Pom Coong village. Back to Avana Retreat, leisure time for the rest of the day.

Day 5: MAI CHAU – PU LUONG – WATERWHEEL WALKS AND RAFTING – PU LUONG RETREAT (B, L, D)

After breakfast, continue the journey to Pu Luong. Arrive in Pu Luong, check-in, and have lunch at Pu Luong Retreat. Because this retreat was built eco-friendly with nature, immerse in the picturesque landscape and hide from noisy and crowded life.In the afternoon, start at a suspension bridge on Cham River, walking and looking for beautiful stunning water wheels, and find out how it works. Stopped by a house of local fishermen, we will have a short rest to prepare for an adventurous climb down the river. Float along the quiet river and enjoy the fascinating landscapes along the banks. At Tan Lap Bridge, got off and come to the vehicle, back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner.

Day 6: PU LUONG – WALKING AND TREKKING (B, L, D)

Start the day of hiking after breakfast in the stilt house of Thai people. Trek through the rich forest and beautiful villages including the scenic Kho Muong, with Thai and Muong villages. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the jungle then keep trekking down to Hin village.

Tonight, have dinner and overnight in Pu Luong Retreat.

Day 7: PU LUONG – NINH BINH – HOA LU – TRANG AN – ARAVINDA RESORT (B, L, D)

Day 8: NINH BINH – HALONG BAY – HERITAGE CRUISE (B, L, D)

Explore real Halong Bay known as World Heritage Site with magnificent landscapes and an impressive cave system. Lunch will be served for you at the restaurant and then sightsee along Halong Bay. Reach Tuan Chau Marina, and check in Heritage Cruise – a brand-new benchmark for luxury yachting. you will be astounded by the top-notch and luxurious architecture with Heritage Cruise. Day 9: HALONG BAY – HAI PHONG – DANANG – HOI AN (B, L, D)

Wake up to the gentle lapping of the water against the boat and as the first rays of the sun announce a new day. Before enjoying breakfast have cookies and tea and then try the tai chi session on the sundeck as the sun rises over Bai Tu Long Bay. Back to the port, transfer to Cat Bi International Airport, then check-in for the flight to Da Nang. On arrival in Da Nang, dine on lunch, then head to Hoi An. Relax at La Siesta Hoi An Resort.

Day 10: HOI AN WALKING TOUR – FREE AT THE BEACH (B, L)

Your visit this morning focuses on a walking tour in Hoi An town – one of the World’s Culture Heritages in Vietnam. This quaint riverside town still boasts a wealth of century’s old traditional architecture. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in old houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits.

Day 11: HOI AN – DANANG – FLIGHT TO CAN THO – AZERAI RESORT (B, L, D)

Take a flight to Can Tho. Day 12: CAN THO – CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET – VUNG LIEM – COCO RIVERSIDE LODGE (B, L, D)

Early morning today, we will take the boat trip to visit the famous Cai Rang floating market with the busy sense right at the time. This is the biggest floating market in Mekong Delta. A stunning picture before your eyes about the daily life of local people selling their products on boats. A scenic drive along to Vung Liem. Stop at the orchard, listening to traditional music at a local home. Enjoy a peaceful time at Coco Riverside Lodge.

Day 13: COCO RIVERSIDE – HO CHI MINH CITY (B)

Today we leave Coco Riverside for Saigon, time for free activities around Saigon.

Day 14: HO CHI MINH – CU CHI TUNNELS BY SPEEDBOAT – EVENING VESPA TOUR AFTER DARK (B, L)

Start the day with a Saigon River Speedboat Cruise from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi Tunnels, otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land” which is around 70km far from Ho Chi Minh city. It takes us more than 1 hour to drive through the pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. From here, we will have a short time to enjoy the introductory video of how the tunnels were constructed; and then explore the maze of the tunnels that are widened for visiting. We also see various mantraps and the remains of a US tank, as well as various bomb craters made by 500lb bombs, dropped by B52 bombers. Relaxing time, we may try to use the real guns and bullets (your own paid – US$1/bullet).

Picked you up by Vespa driver at 6 PM and drive to meet happy point at Cafes Zoom, enjoy a welcome drink and snack. Here, we are also top models when the Vespa Adventure staff takes many nice photos and send them to us after the tour. Start our tour once the sun disappears in the west, the drivers drive us around the big streets to small streets and we can see all the daily nightlife of local people. Then stop at a seafood workshop for our first tasting meal. With all the picked-up dishes, enjoy local beer, fruit juice, or cold water while the streets outside are still busy. After that, Vespa drivers take us back to the central district, passing many highlight places in the city and we finally meet the tour guide who takes his private Vespa at the Banh Xeo workshop. This is a special street restaurant where we will have a chance to see the local ladies cooking Banh Xeo which we later try with a cold drink. When we think we can’t eat anymore, it’s time the Vespa drivers take us to a hidden Vietnamese-style coffee shop to have a taste of Vietnamese live music as local. There is no micro, no power light, it’s only live songs and candles and people whisper to pick up the drink. We can stay here long as we can or we will move to the last destination to change the music taste if we are fans of Rock & beer (Optional for the family is an Ice-cream workshop). Back to the hotels, say goodbye to Vespa drivers and tour guide, and enjoy a peaceful night.

Day 15: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE (B)

After breakfast, feel free at leisure until transfers to the airport for your flight home.
